Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as “Our Centre”) is OPEN from Monday to Friday(public holidays excluded). Applicants are required to fill in the online application forms and make an appointment through our website before submitting application documents on site. and the full-process vaccination certificates of the vaccine licensed or approved for emergency use by China or WHO shall be provided. Applications without a valid online appointment will NOT be accepted. The specific arrangements are as follows:
1. Our Center will continue to accept visa applications of emergency
humanitarian reasons. In addition to visiting an immediate family member in
China who is in critical medical condition and in need of care, or arrange
funeral matters of an immediate family member in China, foreign family members
(including spouses, parents, spouse's parents, children and their spouses,
brothers and sisters, grandparents, and grandchildren) of Chinese citizens or
foreign nationals with permanent residence status in the Mainland of China can
apply for visas for reunion or family visit. For the detailed visa application
requirements, please refer to the “Notice on the Adjustment of
Requirements for Chinese Visa Application During COVID-19 Pandemic”
issued on 9 June, 2022.
2. Our Center will continue to accept Z visa applicants intending to work in
the Mainland of China. and their family members (including spouses, parents,
children under the age of 18, parents of spouses, adult children and their
spouses who can provide sufficient proof of immediate visit) can apply for
visas with the routine documents, without providing Invitation Letters (PU or
TE), For the details, please refer to the “Notice on the Adjustment of
Requirements for Chinese Visa Application During COVID-19 Pandemic”
issued on 9 June, 2022.
3. Our Center will continue to accept M/F visa for applicants visiting China
for economic, trade, scientific and technological purposes, applicants
qualified for a crew (C) visa and those qualified for an R visa. For the
detailed visa application requirements, please refer to the “Notice on Updated Requirements for
Chinese Visa Application During Covid-19 Pandemic” issued on 9
February 2021, and “26 Q&As about Applying for
Chinese Visa in Hong Kong SAR During the COVID-19 Pandemic”
posted on the official website of the Office of the Commissioner of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in the HKSAR.
4.The implementation of Notice on Visa Facilitation for Applicants Inoculated
with COVID-19 Vaccines Produced in China has been resumed to normal.
Please refer to the "Notice on Visa Facilitation for

on the website of the Commissioner Office in the HKSAR for detailed
requirement.
5.Call-center and email service will remain go on from Monday to Friday (except
holidays). Please note that the contact number has been temporarily
changed to +852-55156980 and 60961310 (09:00-12:00; 13:00-16:00); and email has
remained as hongkongcenter@visaforchina.org (09:00-16:00).
